Season's Greetings
Now we are in this very special season of Advent.
As people prepare for the beautiful Christmas festivities, the hustle and bustle of buying gifts, planning parties, and looking forward to the coming holidays, it’s a time to contemplate what this year has brought us and taken away, what we have learnt and how we have grown in our journey.
I regularly sing at funeral services for so many people who are grieving and I especially ask the Holy Spirit to use me and guide me as I minister to the families and friends, each and every time.
This Christmas has been one of the first where I am back singing at those beautiful Christmas concerts. I recently sang at a special ‘Tis the Season’ concert in Lisburn Cathedral as well as being special guest artist at the ‘Spirit of Christmas’ concert at Belfast’s City Church.
Another highlight was the Swinging Christmas event at the Harrison Hotel with my jazz quartet, and a public event for Belfast City Council singing as part of a jazz duet with the talented Darren Day.
